What is the Promised Land? Not a comprehensive list. Just thoughts.

A church where hope and trust in the Lord are palpable.
A church where anyone (from any background, culture, sub-culture, or brokenness) who comes experiences love, not evaluation.
A church where leaders lead, but don’t need to lord
A church where experiencing the presence of the Lord is what makes us aware of our shortcomings, our inadequacies, and our lack. HIS Holiness convicts us as we point towards Him, and honor Him.
A church where people provide for one another as the Lord provides for them.
A church where truly No Child is Left Behind. Not by a governmental program, or a system, but by a community.
A church where youth can experience the freedom to be, to walk into their identity, and be challenged to become lifelong followers of Jesus.
A church where families are equipped, empowered, and encouraged.
A church where everyone gets to play. Every person God brings is a minister
A church that demonstrates all of the fruit of the Spirit and walks humbly in the power of the Spirit.
A church where Father’s Day and Mother’s Day are celebrations, not simply attractional moments and reminders of brokenness.
A church where prayer is happening, all the time, inside the community of followers. The “temple” is now us, and Jesus reminded that His House shall be a House of Prayer.
